Bailey comes to Phoenix from Fresno, where he worked for the NBC and CBS stations. Bailey covered everything from the enormous wildfires that ravaged Yosemite National Park to gang violence and community efforts to curb it to homelessness in the city while reporting in California’s Central Valley.
Bailey began her career in Eugene, Oregon, also known as TrackTown USA, before moving to Fresno. As a one-woman band, she filmed, edited, wrote, and set up her own live shots there. Bailey enjoys traveling, yoga, running and reading historical fiction books when she is not working.
KSAZ-TV is a Fox-owned and operated television station licensed to Phoenix, Arizona, in the United States. It is part of a duopoly alongside MyNetworkTV-owned and operated station KUTP, which is owned by the Fox Television Stations arm of Fox Corporation (channel 45). Both stations have studios on West Adams Street in Downtown Phoenix, and KSAZ-transmitter TVs is on South Mountain.
Channel 10 was Phoenix’s third television station; initially a time-share between two independent stations, it went on to become a top-rated CBS affiliate KOOL-TV, a call sign it retained until it was sold in 1982. In 1994, the station transferred from CBS to Fox as part of a major network realignment, and Fox acquired the station in 1996.
