April 1984 marked Keller’s entry with The New York Times. The I-Can’t-Believe-I’m-A-Hawk Club, an article by Keller, explains Keller’s support for military action during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Keller penned the editorial “Why Colin Powell Should Go” two days after the invasion, calling for the US Secretary of State to resign due to the failure of his diplomatic approach at the UN.
