Simma joined the station in December of 2017. Simma is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) from the American Meteorological Society. Simma’s on-air career started at the NBC affiliate in Amarillo, TX in 2014 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology with a Minor in Mathematics.
Corey has managed to warn his viewers of fatal hurricanes and storms ever since he started his career. Due to this, he has earned his viewers’ love, support, and respect. While still in college, he worked on a number of research projects with mobile Doppler radars – that included hurricanes, lightning, cloud chemistry, and tornadoes.
