He joined ESPN in 2001 working as a full-time sportscaster baseball and college basketball, however, he concurrently worked at ESPN while still employed by TSN. Shulman signed a five-year contract extension with ESPN in 2007 and was then tasked to call NBA games. Furthermore, he is the lead announcer for NCAA basketball at ESPN.
Dan joined TSN in 1995 where he served as a play-by-play voice broadcast of Toronto Blue Jays baseball games. He served as a commentator alongside former Blue Jays catcher Buck Martinez.
