Since the 1995 debut of “Making the MOOSt of It,” Moos has examined everything from three-legged pantyhose to two-headed turtles and recently has focused her reports on the quirky angles of the 2008 presidential campaign. She also has covered cases involving political corruption, most notably Abscam in 1981. Before joining CNN, Moos served as a correspondent at WPTZ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Plattsburgh, N.Y. When she arrived in 1976, she was the first woman correspondent hired by the station. While at WPTZ, she covered a variety of local and national stories, including the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid, N.Y.
