Crompton describes her tenure with WMUR-TV as pretty non-traditional. She has felt at home here since 1989 and has held nearly every job in the newsroom! She started as a show producer, then reporter, then got her dream job as a Seacoast Bureau reporter in 1991.
She had some vocal chord issues so she went back to writing behind the scenes, became Executive Producer, Assistant News Director, weekend anchor, and reporter, and then in 2000, was honored to become News Director. After the 2004 New Hampshire Primary, Jennifer took a break to spend time with family and moved to part-time, producing pieces for NH Chronicle.
