John Douglas Torode is an Australian- British celebrity Chef, broadcaster, and restaurateur. He began working at the Conran Group’s restaurant late in the 1990s after vacating to the UK. His first appearance on tv was on ITV’s show This Morning. Later he presented on BBC One in 2005.
He is also a restaurateur and former owner of restaurants like The Luxe and a second restaurant Smiths of Smithfield. He has also written a number of cookbooks with some fellow Master chef judges and presenters.
