Joyce Vance is an American lawyer who was born and brought up in Los Angeles. She came to wide recognition as the first female lawyer in the USA to be nominated by the former US President Barack Obama. Between 2009 to 2017, she served as the United States for the Alabama District.
She has previously worked with Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP in Washington D.C and later spent over ten years investigating Eric Robert Rudolph who had bombed Birmingham abortion clinic which resulted in the death of one police officer and burnt several churches.
