He was promoted to Vice president of Global Footwear in 1998. In March 2001, Parker became the co-president of Nike alongside Charlie Denson. Parker has contributed a lot to shoe designing. His most notable work was the Nike HTM project alongside Nike designer Tinker Hatfield and creative consultant Hiroshi Fujiwara.
