Stacey Elizabeth Pensgen is an American AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist in Rochester, NY, and Former Competitive Figure Skater who won the silver medal at the 2000 Four Continents Championships. As of Augustpreviously served as the chief meteorologist for WROC-TV News 8 in Rochester, New York.
WHAM-TV hired her in August 2006 as a part-time meteorologist and reporter but she quitted due to unknown reasons in January 2011.

WROC-TV News hired Stacey in February 2011 as a part time meteorologist and reporter. She served as the weekend meteorologist for News 8 at 6, and News 8 at 11 as well as filled in for former chief meteorologist Scott Hetsko and morning meteorologist John DiPasquale.
Besides working as a meteorologist, Stacey also served as a reporter, some of her works include “Living Here” segments featuring distinctive small towns in Western New York and “Around Town” segments on weekend events around Rochester, New York.
Pensgen officially became the chief meteorologist for WROC-TV News 8 on August 10th, 2016 after Scott Hetsko left the station.

Stacey started her skating career at the age of six after watching figure skating on television. She was coached by Richard Callaghan in 1988 at the Onyx in Rochester from 1998 .She was also coached by Mitch Moyer at the Detroit Skating Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She represented the Genesee Figure Skating Club.
Stacey was granted the bronze medal at the 1999 ISU Junior Grand Prix in Canada and the silver medal at the 2000 Four Continents Championships. Her highest placement at the U.S. Championships was sixth in 2000.
