Grady also enjoys learning and has a keen sense of curiosity that even a cat would envy. However, this influenced her decision to pursue a career in journalism. She launched her own TV show, “The U,” and landed several good internships, including at WCAU-NBC10 in Philadelphia’s investigative section and Entertainment Tonight/The Insider in New York City.
In addition, she landed her first general assignment reporting job directly out of college at WSEE/WICU in Erie, PA. She was promoted to morning anchor and, after nearly a year, accepted a position at WSAZ News Channel 3 in Huntington, West Virginia. She then accepted a morning anchor position at News10 ABC and FOX23 (WTEN/WXXA) in Albany, NY, allowing her to be closer to her now-husband, Joe.
