Tracie has had quite an impressive career. She previously worked as an anchor and reporter for WATE-TV from August 1992 to April 1997 covering assignments in the East Tennessee ABC network, where she was also the producer and host for half-hour news specials and public affairs programs.
From September 1991 to August 1992, Potts anchored for and produced the morning show for WAFF-TV’s northern Alabama NBC affiliate. During her training days, she was also a writer for The Atlanta Inquirer, Virginian-Pilot, Chicago Tribune, and The Palm Beach Post. The journalist appears on local morning news programs such as “Early Today”. Tracie’s reporting also extends to Al Jazeera America, CNBC Europe, The Weather Channel along with some Canadian networks.
