Wallace Karia is currently one of the presidents of the Tanzanian Football Federation. In 1990 he graduated from Chuo Cha Uhasibu Tanzania with a degree in accounting. In 1994 he graduated with a master’s degree in accounting from the University of cash management, Tanzania. In addition, He completed his A-Level in 1987.

Wallace Karia Career

In 2016 he was appointed as Chief accountant of the local government of the Morogoro region and Director municipality of Bukoba. Later in 2015.

He was appointed the Executive director of the council Mvomero, Morogoro, and also the Financial Advisor municipal office of the prime minister.

In 1995-2000 he was the Program leader of accounting software for environmental conservation in the coastal region of tanga and later on in 1994 – 1995 he became Accountant in the office of Tanga governor.

In 2017, Wallace was elected the new president of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF). Nonetheless, his election met hard conditions from the government following earlier allegations of corruption with Minister for Information, Arts, Culture, and Sports. Harrison Mwakyembe, warning that the government will not be involved with sports associations that are frequently embroiled in a financial scandal.
