While working at Chicago Kiss FM radio poll, he was voted as the “Best Newscaster”. He had been working for the station since 2000 with his co-anchor Tamron Hall. He was then recruited to Fox Chicago from WABC-TV in New York where he was the morning weekend anchor and general assignment reporter.
He transferred to WFLD-TV before returning to WABC-TV station in December 2010. His achievement includes the documentary Cropsey, which was based on a real-life serial killer which was the subject of exclusive reporters, which broke the news.
